Check Your Registration Status under GST!

Another Awesome step by the government to provide more clarity.

Now, the people who have filled the enrolment form for GST, irrespective of whether they were under VAT, Excise or Service tax, can check the status of their migration under GST.

Procedure

1. Just go to “www.gst.gov.in”. Look at the footer side, under the “Important Links” heading. Click on the “Check Registration Status” Link. (Here is the direct link – Click Here)
   
2. Select the state under which you had registered.
3. Enter any one out of three parameters-
   • “Registration Number” under VAT/ Excise/ Service Tax, or
   • “Provisional ID” of GST, or
   • Permanent Acoount Number (PAN) of entity/ proprietor
4. Type the captcha code and press submit.

Result

Check the “STATUS” heading-

• If it’s showing “Migrated”, then congrats, you have succesfully enrolled, you can download your aclnowledgement and filled form.
• If it’s showing “Validation Error”, it means you have not successfully migrated, check the email you would have received in the registered email id/ SMS in your mobile number, and correct any errors, by logging in again and submitting the from after correction.
• If it’s showing “Provisional”, this means you haven’t yet filled and submitted the form.
