Mistake in GSTR 3B? – The Government has allowed Modification in GSTR-3B!

It is well said that “Mistakes are Common and it’s a part of human nature” and when the nation is going through such a revolutionary phase it was obvious that people while filing return may commit an error.

There is some good news for the tax payers!!

Taxpayers from past few month were demanding Government to allow modification/edit the return GSTR-3B they filed.

Now, the Government has allowed to ‘RESET GSTR-3B’.

So, now if any taxpayer has ‘submitted’ wrong data in GSTR-3B, then he may modify the return. An option to “Reset GSTR-3B” is available, after pressing “Preview and Submit”. By reset, we can again edit and correct the data and submit again.

This will be allowed only if taxpayer has not made tax adjustment/ filed the return.
